Background
Shri Gopalanandji Vidya Mandir (GVM) is in Adhoi, Kutchh. The school was developed after the devastating earthquake in 2001. The school was built with the help of Gujarat Earthquake Relief fund raised by nine Asian charities in the UK. Kutchh, traditionally, has never been progressive in education hence the education level is quite low. After establishing the school twenty years ago, the teaching staff in Adhoi have worked very hard to create an environment where education can thrive. After many years of ordinary results, the school is now producing much better results academically and more so in sports and cultural fields.
