Restoring Harmony: Pujya Bapu’s Vision for a Bird Sanctuary
In today’s fast-paced world, birds are often overlooked—or worse, dismissed as pests. While some maintain a daily practice of feeding birds out of habit or religious devotion, the natural habitats that birds rely on are rapidly disappearing. Widespread deforestation has left native bird populations struggling to find essential fruit and berry trees.
Recognizing this growing environmental crisis, Pujya Bapu envisioned a dedicated haven for bird life.
On a 250-acre expanse near Mhendarda, a safe sanctuary is taking shape. Designed specifically with avian needs in mind, the land is being cultivated with native, fruit-bearing trees—such as Peepal and Banyan— to ensure generations of birds have a safe home and a reliable, natural food source.
