As part of our Anand Dhara project to help develop villages in Visavadar Taluka of Junagadh District, where we are working in 40 villages, BET is helping to build school assembly halls in 9 villages. All the halls have been donated by one UK donor.

Approximate size of each hall is 30 x 20ft and the construction is basic with an open plan so it can be used for many purposes. They will be used by students, parents, teachers for group meetings, as laboratory and exhibition area, youth & women counselling area, school assembly, theatre and play area and lunch time dining area. It will create a central focal point for the school and the village community. All the assembly halls will be completed soon after the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions have been lifted.
