A New School for Laskar Shobhagvadla
A Safe and Modern Learning Environment for Rural Children
As part of the Anand Dhara Village Development Programme, BET is proud to announce the completion of a brand-new village school in Laskar Shobhagvadla (Visavadar Taluka, Junagadh District).
The Challenge
For over a decade, the 130 students at this Government school faced severe disruptions to their education. The existing classrooms suffered from severe roof leaks, turning the school into a hazard during the rainy season.
Heavy rains frequently forced the school to close down altogether, leaving children without a safe place to learn.
The Solution
Construction began in September 2019 and was successfully completed in February 2020. The project delivers:
- 2 New Modern Classrooms: Safe, dry, and built to last.
- Adjoining Assembly Hall: A spacious, shaded area for school gatherings, activities, and group learning.
